On occasion you may find yourself having to perform an exchange for your clients due to a change of mind. Exchange works out better for your business as you are not refunding the client, but rather exchanging for a different item/service.
To perform an exchange:
Step 1: Click the Transactions tab and select Exchange.
Step 2: Enter the item that the client is returning. In the Quantity section, ensure you put a - in front of the total number of item being exchanged. E.g. If the Client is exchanging 4 items, put -4.
Step 3: Now select the item that the client wish to exchange for and enter the correct quantity. As you are now performing an exchange, you do not need to add in a - in your quantity. If the exchanged value is higher than your returned item, the value will reflect in your total. Complete transaction as usual.
